FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Take Custom and Personalized Orders?

Yes, I offer custom orders! After messaging, we will discuss fibers, colors, and design, at which point I will create a listing for you to purchase. Orders take 4-8 weeks, depending on the order and current work volume.

If you decide to cancel the order during or after the making process, you may still be charged for materials. This cost will be based on the cost of the materials chosen for your project. Cancellation before this point will not incur any fees.

Care Instructions

I use all natural fibers and will include care labels. I try to match the fiber to the use for easy care.

Silks: Cool wash by hand or delicate mode in a garment bag, flat dry, cool iron.

Wool/Alpaca: Are normally hand wash and flat dry. Cool iron. Most wools contain lanolin and may benefit from a lanolin wash from time to time. Alpaca is naturally lanolin free.

Cottons: Items are all machine washable and machine dryable. Hot iron.

Be mindful of large design floats — though machine safe, it is advised you don't wash with items that have buttons. Please wash with snag-free items or in a garment bag to prevent damage.

How do you know? If you can slip a pencil behind or through the weave easily.

Wholesale Availability

I do not wholesale as each item is made by hand individually, but if you would like yardage for sewing or multiples of an item, like towel sets or scarves for the whole family, you can create a custom order.

Gift Wrapping and Packaging

I package all my items in the most appropriate size box with tissue paper, and I include care cards. Items do have care tags attached. The card is easy to save if you choose to remove the tag.

Short gift messages can be printed to include with the item if requested.

Are Items Identical?

No, each item is made by hand in small batches. Although I try to get clear photos of each item in different lighting to be as true to color as possible, there are natural variations in dye lots and weaves. I like to consider my pieces like semi-identical twins!
