This Artisan scarf begins with locally sourced alpaca fleece, in its natural silver-gray hue, showing a minimalist, authentic, and earthy beauty. The fiber was carefully hand-washed, carded, and spun into yarn, then double-plied on my spinning wheel for strength and softness. Alpaca is known for creating a beautiful halo over time, creating more beauty every year. It was thoughtfully woven on a rigid heddle loom, making each piece truly unique.
Extra long and luxuriously soft, this scarf measures 64" x 9.5" and is finished with a 6.5" twisted fringe—perfect for cozy layering.
